to Orcas Island, across 5 counties, 3 islands, 2 peninsulas, and 2 ferry boat rides.   Bike weight (unloaded)  19 lbs

2004 Giant "Halfway" folding bike, 7 speed Shimano, 6061 aircraft aluminum frame. Collapses in 15 seconds, and fits into its own shoulder bag supplied
 by the manufacturer. 28 lbs.

2006 Diamondback Peak "rain bike",  21 speed Shimano MegaRange, 6061 aircraft aluminum frame, Suntour gas shocks, Topeak computer and heart rate monitor,
high grip rain tires and Zefal fenders. A mountain bike adapted for all terrain use. (Pt Orchard had 20 inches of rain in January, 2006)    Note compact frame design,
similar to the Giant road bike.   34 lbs.
