"Chuck the Cat"      199?  -   08/29/2007

Appearing in this incarnation as a cat,  this gentle and noble being brought insights of love and fear.

Back story:
Chuck and his sister Betsy grew up in rural Washington State. Left behind, they moved to the Fukuda-Blackburn Feline Retirement Colony* in 2004.  3 years before that, they became "outside cats" near a small farmhouse situated in a forest populated by coyotes, raccoons, bears, hawks, eagles, and roving dogs.

Even for a cat, Chuck had lots of quirky behaviors. Siamese doesn't do well outside, and he was no exception. He would only eat under a coffee table, only drink with his back (literally) to a wall. (Feline PTSD?)  His body had various scars from past attacks.  One ear always tilted due to scar tissue, though all who met him thought it gave him a distinguished, dapper look. see below

During his tenure here, Chuck dispensed deep wisdom though cryptic teachings, often accompanied by significant furniture destruction. He and Betsy completed their experiment in physical form, pampered in a
dog-free, child-free facility boasting a 1/1 servant-to-cat ratio.
